Oh happy day

Wow, how awesome is that? Woke up today when the parcel service knocked on my door and handed me a surprise of my auntie in - an advent calendar! I think you can never be to old to have one :) And the best thing was - tadada - when I got a belated birthday pressie from my (too far away living) super-duper-friend Berni!! Such a wonderful gift - very meaningful to me! Thank you so much, darling.
Outfit: I was wearing a total comfy sweater today and nothing extra-ordinary.. so, not many pics. ;)

Happy-go-lucky

Today was quite chilled. I've done some homework for university and have been hanging around at home for hours. Since the day has been nice but not a thrill, the most exciting moment was when I found a dress I had totally forgotten about and never worn in summer. That dress has been the bone of contention for me trying to bring a piece of Summer back - in other words -  make it Autumn-compatible. Here's the result. Like?

First Sunday in Advent

Today was the first Sunday in Advent and something about that day had been special! I don't exactly know why, but this Sunday has been the first in a very long time that I did not want to go by as quickly as possible. Normally I don't like Sundays. I think I always have what you would call the 'Sunday Blues' for whatever reason. Maybe only because of the fact that everything is awkwardly silent and all shops are closed. But as I said, it was different today - fortunately. Tina and I were taking a long walk through Schönbrunn and relaxing the rest of the day at home watching telly, reading magazines and eating. Eating can def be counted as a proper activity, for we do it almost all of the time :)
After that regular update there's only one thing left I wanna do: wish y'all a very nice week!
Love, Julie

Winter's approaching

Hey there lovely readers/visitors :)
I've had a real blast the last couple of days! I can't even tell anybody how much I love the time before and around christmas. I love the whole package - from the first 'Last Christmas' to the last cookies that were left over. (If you wonder why I use the word 'love' so often, I should tell you that I either adore something or can't stand it at all - this fact may be caused by my zodiac sign.. I'm a Scorpio; so never mind!)
The previous week was full of fun activities with friends. We've had loads of mulled wine, enjoyed breakfast together and I finally got to see what's in the stores for my x-mas decoration.
Here are some of my fav pics - and of course - outfits! Love, Julie

Time out

Sorry for being so lazy and not blogging over the weekend! I've been back home in Carinthia for a couple of days and it was so much fun meeting old friends and my family, relaxing... We attended the ball, which the school I had gone to usually arranges but unfortunately I don't have any pictures of that evening; maybe someone will send me a few, so I can upload them afterwards. Anyway, I had a real good time and am looking forward to seeing my girls again. The following pictures had been taken before we went to cinema (watching 'Working Mum' with Sarah Jessica Parker, whom I love! - quite fordable movie, but good entertainment -> kinda 'girlish':)). My outfit was a mix of 'casual goes partying' - at least it was ment to be. On Sunday (back in Vienna) we went to a great concert of the German newcomer Philipp Poisel, which was soo good! Take my advice and listen to his songs. Have an awesome week. Love, Julie.

Winter Flowers

Looking out of the window, everything is grey. Vienna seems to be disappearing in fog. So I kind of wanted to match my outfit with the general not-Autumn-not-yet-winter-mood and decided to cover my body with all shades of grey. Here's the result. Hope, everybody's doing fine! Love, Julie

The comfy way of colour blocking

Today was what you would probably call a 'typical' November day. It's been foggy and cold but somehow I like days like these, when you just grab something comfortable out of your closet that keeps you warm and cosy the whole day and all you have to do is have some nice cup of tea (besides going to university..grr).
Also I've been in a first pre-christmas mood today which was the result of an indefatigable gift-wrapping 'orgy' that I organized when I read about this. That project is a great idea and I had to participate in it as soon as I read the article. And as far as my outfit is concerned.. it only had to serve the purpose of keeping me comfortable and brightening up the day a little bit :) Love, Julie
