Surprisingly, no cryptic Guns'N'Roses lyrics today, instead just a few words on the outfit and seasonal clothing in general. As we very recently have welcomed November and are already approaching the christmassy time of the year fast as the wind, a noticeable change of temperatures would seem quite logical. This year though, fall feels like spring and the day when these pictures were taken was indeed the only chilly one so far - including November rain (if you wondered where the title came from!). So, how does one dress adequately when you simply don't know what to expect climate-wise when leaving the house in the morning? The answer is as oft-enunciated as simple - layering! That very frequently used term describes clothing for the so called 'transition time', which allows you to change layers and styles when you're out - either for sudden coldness or because you're starting to get a little sweaty underneath your winterly clothes that seem to be slightly inappropriate in the warm ray of sunlight. In November.
My latest layering look consisted of some basic black skinny jeans, a black longsleeve with semi transparent parts, a denim vest, my all-time favourite faux-leather jacket, a huge cuddly tartan scarf and a beanie. Whatever change in weather you might experience during the day, you might want to get rid of one or another piece and will therefore need a big bag to carry with you. My Liebeskind is a loyal companion and sometimes equals a carry around-wardrobe ;) Last but not least, I wanna introduce you to my brand-new fancy birthday shoes - loving the platform and the studs!!
Love, Julie.
