Fringe, Lace & Flower Crown

I am definitely a flower girl at heart and every once in a while, I gotta adjust that pretty hippie-ésque, bohemian mindset to my outer appearance. When this gem of a flower wreath was exclusively made for me at the Pandora spring presentation last week, my heart skipped a beat. A flower crown so beautiful, resembling both - my favourite Femen symbol and the bridal headpiece of my future self. Thank you for your artsy creation, Blumenoase Ajili!

With the approaching Coachella vibes (As every year, I'll feel so pity for myself for not having the money to attend! ;)) the outfit was born very spontaneously and I did not doubt the ensemble a second. The fringe jacket is an H&M sale pick and I've just worn it the first time that day but am pretty sure, this was the beginning of a wonderful love story. As you might guess, people were staring at me. Extremely. But from my point of view, it was worth their while. Ha.

Love, Julie.

Kissa Tea Launch {Big Matcha Love!}

Good news for all tea lovers (including me): this week, Kissa Tea has launched a beautifully looking and amazingly delicious range of premium biological (powdered) matcha, rooibos and black teas. Being at the event, I literally tried all different varieties of matcha tea, from the classic latte to matcha flavoured food and even cocktails, as well as the other tea specialities presented. I love that brand! I especially have been head over heels with the intense and awesome taste of Kissa matchas and the powdered earl grey tea (innovation!) I got to try. The focus of Kissa might be on the 30g tea boxes that are available online and at selected Viennese shops for about 16€. For you should not use more than 1g per serving, one box usually lasts a month. Compared to Starbucks (matcha) prices, that is beyond reasonable.. ;) And no, I'm not being paid for swooning over these products.

For further information and detailed recipes, check out www.kissatea.com. Are you a matcha fan or not so keen on the green super food (drink)?

Love, Julie.

Spring Outfit: Yellow Skirt & Boyfriend Blazer

Happy spring, y'all! The rise of our Viennese temperatures was on point yesterday - just as the calendar marked the new season, it was warm enough for me to spend a sunny Saturday in town in my boyfriend style blazer and the most delicate tights. While enjoying this year's first huge portion of ice cream, I felt an inner upcoming excitement towards wearing dresses and airy outfits again. Vienna is so beautiful, especially covered in sunshine; it's easy to be inspired in such a picturesque environment.

What are your favourite places in the city? Any special and blooming spring spots?

Love, Julie.

Burgundy Faux Leather & Black Lace

Whenever spring is around the corner, I tend to grab my lighter jackets a little too early due to the anticipation of warmer days. This pretty faux leather piece caught my eye at the Forever21 sale quite some time ago, yet I've never worn it before. This is gonna change now, for I love the colour and the details, its shape and how it still somehow manages to keep me warm, though the temperatures are not that springy yet. #windyvienna
Paired with my casual black attire and some delicate lace, this is how my outfit turned out.

Love, Julie.

{Manicure} Basic Colours: New In

Out of all the countless nail polishes I possess, there are just about a handful of colours being constantly used. Some shades are timeless and go with everything, clothing-wise. A while ago, I received packages of Jessica and Guerlain, providing me with the companies' latest additions to their colour ranges. After I had tried out all the newbies, I picked out my favourites to show you, which colours are a go-to choice of mine. The golden varnishes turned out to be my Christmas manicure - pretty sparkly! - and the army green shade is probably my number one, all-together.

Jessica:

845 Girls Night Out
895 Soho In Love
896 Mad For Madison
899 Meet At The Plaza

Guerlain:

400 Coque D'Or
901 L'Oiseau De Feu

What are your manicure preferences?

Love, Julie.
