ENG: I was invited to a wonderful September wedding last weekend - the most relaxed and laid-back celebration I ever witnessed. Whereas in summertime, wedding season is dominated by bright colours and especially pastels, my turn on a late summer/ fall inspired wedding guest outfit was completely different. I opted for my everlasting love - black! Dark from head to toe might not pop up to your mind when considering a festive outfit for an occasion like that, buuut.. the sheer effect of my lace dress and the summerly heels made my outfit feel much more airy and adequate than expected. To match the relaxing atmosphere, I let my hair hang loose - looking uber-elegant wouldn't have felt right.
GER: Letztes Wochenende war ich zu einer wunderbar entspannten Hochzeitsfeier eingeladen und wollte mein Outfit entsprechend wählen: nicht zu übertrieben elegant - daher mein 'straighter' Hairstyle - und vor allem nicht ausschließlich sommerlich inspiriert, da wir uns immerhin schon im September befinden. Genau aus diesem Grund entschied ich mich für die eigentlich verpönte Hochzeitsfarbe schlechthin - schwarz. Im Sommer dominieren stets Pastelltöne, doch wenn es etwas herbstlicher wird und der Look trotzdem nicht zu trist und bedrückend wirkt, ist das meiner Meinung nach gar kein Problem, also schmiss ich mich kurzerhand in ein schwarzes Spitzenkleid und offene Schuhe. Wie steht Ihr zu Hochzeits-Dresscodes?

Also ich finde, dass das Kleid total okay ist für eine Hochzeit - immerhin ist es ja nicht komplett schwarz :)
