ENG: At concert venues and especially festival grounds, I feel like I'm in my natural habitat. Besides my deep affection for music, the atmosphere - and - the endless options of not-so-ordinary outfits taste like freedom to me.
When it comes to getting ready for events like that, I tend to to either grab my boho inspired garments or get completely flower-crazy! In case of the looks I wore at this year's Lighthouse Festival, a crossover of these tendencies happened. So, today, you get to see not one but two outfits, that somehow relate and then again.. don't at all.

As for ensemble number one, I took a more 'romantic' turn on the flower
theme with a Bikbok flower crown I had to have for its unusual color
combination (hello black!), an airy Benetton crop top and a ripped H&M denim
mini skirt. Never mind the Buffalo flipflops, LHF took place at the
beach!

Whereas look number two consisted of a bold, breezy Forever21 jumpsuit with an all-over rose print and cut-outs at the back, an Urban Outfitters headpiece probably inspired by Xena the warrior fighter, (flash) tattoos, glittery hair and golden sandals by Deichmann.
Though both outfits were quite skin baring, I felt pretty confident. That's another upside of music festivals (perhaps, apart from Coachella): when there's love, peace and happiness in the air and people are all smiles and not giving a shit about anything other than having fun and cold drinks, there's no room for body-shaming.
Love, Julie.
